The cultures of Trinidad and Tobago peoples also referred to as Trinbagonians, is a made up of various ethnicity groups that inhabit the twin island republic the are  Indians, African, French, Amerindians, Syrian , Chinese, and Portuguese all living peacefully.There are many cultural festivals and holidays celebrated on the island, by the different ethnic groups that settled  the islands which help create a rich inheritance of dance, music, art, food,and festivals.

Some of the major cultural festivals and holidays celebrated in Trinidad are. Phagwa or Holi, a Hindu festival that involves joyful singing and dancing as participants are sprayed with color full dyes this festival takes place during the months of March or April.

Eid-ul-Fitr, observed by Muslims worldwide. A public holiday it signals the ends of Ramadan the holy fasting month it is also time when Trinidad Muslim visit mosques and offer charity.

Diwali a major festival celebrated by Hindu population it is one of the largest celebration outside of India. It pays homage to Hindu goddess Lakshmi.

Easter celebrated mostly by Christians and is quite popular it celebrate in many christian communities with traditional food and you can also seen the beating of the bobolee an effigy of Judas.
